Alluaudia dumosa is a plant endemic to southern Madagascar of the didieraceae family.

It is a shrubby plant with short, not very sharp thorns.

In the natural environment, it is a little smaller than its famous cousin Alluaudia procera.

It appreciates full sun and a mineral substrate.

In winter it will be kept frost-free and dry.
