Drimiopsis maculata is a bulb found from Tanzania to South Africa with beautiful green leaves spotted with small purplish brown spots.
 It is a prolific bulb which shoots back strongly in high season even if its foliage does not appreciate full midday sun.
 In winter, dry, it can remain in a cold, frost-free greenhouse.
